Project Description:

Quad Vets in Hammond (just around the corner from PMC) is a residential program to help homeless and other needy veterans. They have approved projects for the club to make 4 outdoor rocking chairs and 40 small boxes to be installed in the residents’ lockers to hold meds and personal items.

The 4 rocking chairs will be made in Keith Bryan’s shop using Keith’s patterns. They will be just like the rocking chairs made previously for the War Veterans Home in Jackson (pictured above).

The 40 boxes will be 10x20x6” with an open top and flat bottom using 3/8” plywood. Joinery is at the builder’s option; finish to be polyurethane. One sheet of plywood to make 7 boxes.
