  • Webmaster – Geoff Michelli- Richard Robles expressed concern about how the website is managed and suggested we might consider hiring someone part time to maintain it. Richard has been unsuccessful in reaching Geoff to discuss these matters.

New and Ongoing Club Business

  • Dues- Please pay your dues if you haven’t.
  • WBR Fair- The club has been invited to participate in the West Baton Rouge Fair. It would involve us doing a 1 hour presentation of our choosing.
  • Pecan Logs- Friends of Hays Town are offering pecan logs that have been cut on their property. The lumber is located in St. Gabriel. You can have all you want to haul away. We have talked to Tommy Treuil and verified he is will to saw any of the logs we bring to him. It is some nice looking lumber but would have to be hauled.

Members Questions/Concerns

Safety Topic– David Ringuette described an accident he had trying to carry a full sheet of 3/4″ plywood. Moral of the story is take the time to get material into a manageable size and shape so you don’t hurt yourself.

Skill Topic: George Campagna – Small Shops Video Part 2
