Meeting Minutes -October 1, 2022

Meeting Location: Swamp Life Festival, North Iberville Visitors Center in Grosse Tete, just off I-10

• Assembling bird house with the kids will be our meeting. Next formal meeting will be November 5.
• There are no minutes for this event as the activity was assembly of birdhouses. Approximately 13 members participated. Roughly 193 birdhouses were assembled by children and adults attending the Swamp Life Festival. Blanchard Lumber Company of Plaquemine, LA donated 60 each 1″ x 8″ x 8 foot pine boards for members to make bird house kits. Hays Town made 50 kits. We started with a total of 230 kits and have 37 left in storage for the 2023 Swamp Life Festival.
