Swamp Fest 2026

The Swamp Life Festival was held at the North Iberville Visitors Center in Grosse Tete on October 3. It had been several years since we participated in this event due to covid and the festival rescheduling the event that conflicted with our other commitments. We also want to thanks Lowes in Gonzales for donating some of the lumber this year for our club members to be able to put together our bird house kits for the kids. Though we surrounded by rain for most of the day, we only saw a little before we started and very light drizzle just before we packed up. The crowd was not as big as past years, but the ones that showed up had fun and created many smiles throughout the day! We were able to give out 148 houses which is less than our past average, but it was still a lot of fun for our members and the kids that came! Please look through the event pictures below:
