Design & Plan:

Checkout counter and cabinets for their retail store. Cabinets to be a mix of drawers and doors. This piece is designed by Kesh Ikuma with inputs from Terry Landry.

The plan was drawn in Autodesk Fusion 360, which is a 3D modeling software with rich features. The model and drawings are embedded below for your reference.

Club Supplied Materials: Drawer Slides, Drawer Pulls, and Door Knobs

Member Supplied Materials: Red oak plywood (3/4″) & lumber (for visible parts), 1/2″ plywood (for drawers), 1/8″x1/2″ metal bar stock (for file drawer), and 2×4 pine (for base)

Budget for Member Supplied Materials: $???

Build Notes:

Red oak ply is available at Home Depot at $56/sheet; it is considerably higher at Brazos, Service, Holmes, etc.

Finishing will have to be done at the same time and place to assure uniformity; where and when to be worked out later.
